Museums and Libraries
Museums and libraries are assembly locations. These rooms have to meet various demanding requirements. Exhibits should be exposed “in the appropriate (lime)light”, libraries should be well illuminated in the research- and reading zones. However, exhibits and books require a reliable protection against UV- radiation. Furthermore, the natural colour of the light must be guaranteed. Glare caused by direct incidence of light is as disturbing as the casting of strong shadows on the exhibits. Further ideas can be found as “applications” in the chapter “references”.
