OKACELL is one of the both latest innovations which was presented at the BAU 2009 trade fair in Munich. The insulating glazing with photo­voltaic modules in the inter-pane cavity offers highly individualized design options. The range includes solar cells in various colours and hole patterns, and the glass can be adapted superbly to suit the architect’s requirements. The integration of solar cells and light-diffusing capillary slabs into the glazing, printed glazing and, of course, individually created pane shapes are just a few of the options. Furthermore, the photo­vol­taic ­modules can be switched to various positions.
