Optical Illusion of Depth through Visible Capillary Structure

OKALUX EVO light-diffusing insulating glass offers numerous advantages: The capillary slab in the cavity allows for an even and shadow-free illumination with daylight deep into the room. The sun and glare-protection are very good, the heat insulation excellent and the transmission values individually adjustable to the requirements.

The fiber glass mat located only between the two capillary slabs is visible from both sides of the OKALUX EVO and creates an attractive lively surface.

Build-up and principle of function

  • Maximum dimensions: 2,000 mm x 6,000 mm, larger sizes available upon request

  • All technical values, such as light transmission, TSET and Ug-values can be varied by using other constructions and glass types. 

  • The Ug-value for the various versions is dependent, among other things, on:
    • the thickness of the KAPIPANE insert: 16 - 40 mm (2-pane make-up)
    • the functional coating on surface #2 (3-pane make-up)
    • the filling gas in the cavity between panes (Air/Argon/Krypton)
